At Kings Opticians & Audiologists, we’re proud to be a family-run, independent practice owned by North Norfolk brothers James and Matt Schaitel.

Based in the heart of Reepham, our goal has always been simple — to offer honest, personalised eye and hearing care for our community. With over twenty years of combined experience between us, we’re passionate about helping people see and hear the moments that truly matter, all in a relaxed and friendly setting.

We’re lucky to have a fantastic team alongside us. Vicky Silver joined from the very beginning as our Wax Removal Technician and has since trained as an Optical Assistant, while Chris Elcocks, our trusted Audiologist, has also been with us from the start.

Together, we’re here to provide expert care with a personal touch — right here in Reepham.

At Kings Opticians you can expect a fully comprehensive eye exam with James, with time taken to discuss any concerns or queries you may have.

For complete peace of mind, we include non-invasive retinal scans (OCT) in all of our eye examinations.

We also provide full contact lens care and supply. Including our FOCUS+ care plan to include care, lenses and solutions for one monthly price.

We take pride in our work and partner with leading lens suppliers to give you the most comfortable vision possible.

Many of our lenses are made with AVA technology - this allows us to produce spectacle lenses with up to 25x more accuracy than a normal prescription. We also include industry leading anti-reflective coatings as standard on the majority of our lenses.
Hearing Care
We provide specialist audiology services including hearing examinations & wax removal (microsuction and irrigation).

Our audiologist, Chris Elcocks has spent over 30-years in the industry. You are truly in safe and experienced hands.

We partner with leading providers, such as Oticon, Starkey & Phonak to offer cutting edge hearing aid technology, including full after-care services at no additional charge.
All of our hearing checks, examinations and demonstrations are complimentary with no commitments.

Our hearing aid devices are priced competitively to other suppliers and you can save even more by joining our FOCUS care plans.
